Northeast has financial solutions to make your degree plans a reality.
Earning a degree is a big investment with even greater returns, and Northeast can help. Our students receive scholarships and aid directly from the College, as well as via several private scholarships established by individual donors, alumni, professional organizations and foundations. Northeast also participates in the U.S. Department of Education's direct loan and workstudy programs.
Financial Aid: Undergraduate & Certificate Programs

Scholarships & Aid: Graduate Programs
Scholarships for new incoming doctor of chiropractic students include the Northeast Merit Scholarship, the Chiropractic Legacy Scholarship and the Presidential Scholarship. These non-renewable awards are applied in equal installments for the first two trimesters of enrollment upon the receipt of all official transcripts.
Continuing students also have the opportunity to be awarded a variety of scholarships. Award amounts and criteria for eligibility vary.
Incoming doctor of chiropractic students who have maintained exemplary academic performance with GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49 prior to enrollment at Northeast are eligible to receive a Merit Scholarship of $1,500.
Incoming doctor of chiropractic students who have maintained exemplary academic performance with GPAs between 3.5 and 4.0 prior to enrollment at Northeast are eligible to receive a High Merit Scholarship of $2,500.
Incoming doctor of chiropractic students who are carrying on their family chiropractic tradition and are immediate family members (e.g., spouse, parent, grandparent, brother/sister, or child) of a licensed doctor of chiropractic may be eligible for a potential scholarship of up to $2,500.
This competitive award for incoming doctor of chiropractic students is based on a completed application and essay submission. Scholarship amounts vary.
Awarded to enrolled doctor of chiropractic students in each class, trimesters 2-10, this scholarship has a value of $300-$500 per trimester.
This competitive, essay-based scholarship is awarded to non-U.S. citizens in trimester 2 or higher who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.0. This annual scholarship awards multiple recipients up to $1,500.
These multiple, competitive awards go to enrolled doctor of chiropractic students maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0; financial need and a submitted essay are considered. Scholarship value is up to $1,500.

NEW starting Fall 2025: Incoming Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) program students who hold Canadian citizenship and maintain good academic standing are eligible to receive a 30% tuition scholarship for 10 trimesters of their D.C. study.
Student Employment
Student employment is another option to help cover the cost of your education. Northeast offers a variety of on-campus employment opportunities for students who qualify. Our off-campus community also offers opportunities for students to work in the surrounding area.

Loan Programs
Northeast participates in all of the U.S. Department of Education's direct loan programs. Eligible students needing to borrow funds are strongly encouraged to secure funding through these programs first. The direct loan programs have unique deferment, repayment, and loan forgiveness options that other student loan programs do not.
